The ancient Greeks held the sun and its arching journey across the sky to be sacred. Revering the sun itself as a god, they called him by the name Apollo. In other words, this finely crafted line of lanterns from Legendary Lighting is remembered by the name of the god of light himself. It's quite the title to live up to, but as usual these beautiful lamps satisfy.

The Legendary Lighting series was created by Bill Shook, founded on the principle that "the key to success has been absolutely maintaining the highest quality possible while adhering to the strictest safety standards." And of course the Apollo I, in addition to every other product from Legendary Lighting lanterns, is C.S.A. approved.

The Apollo bears the standing trademark of Legendary Lighting, the Vestal Flame. The unique palm shape of the Vestal Flame is often referred to as a maple leaf or fleur-de-lis flame. This flame is a product of innovative engineering; and combined with the rich luster of copper and translucent glass, it creates a truly memorable effect. The light of the Apollo I extends in a generous ten foot radius from the flame itself. The Apollo's rich, consistent light is sure to leave a lasting impression of elegance and comfort, representative of all fine Legendary Lighting products.

• All lanterns are plumbed to accept 1/4" OD copper tubing with flare fitting
• All lanterns include a shut-off valve located at the base of the burner inside the cabinet
• An optional wind guard is available for our customers living in high-wind areas
• Manual lanterns are designed to burn continuously
• Optional Electronic Ignition Feature- this feature lets your lantern be controlled by the flip of a switch, relights automatically when blown out, and can save you hundreds of dollars in power costs.
