In ancient Greek mythology, Atlas is the Titan giant who carries the earth, sky, and sea on his shoulders. This archaic god of absolute strength and endurance is the inspiration behind Legendary Lighting's Atlas series of fine gas lanterns.

The Legendary Lighting series was created by Bill Shook, founded on the principle that "the key to success has been absolutely maintaining the highest quality possible while adhering to the strictest safety standards." And of course the Atlas II, in addition to every well-crafted product from Legendary Lighting lanterns, is C.S.A. approved.

The Atlas II features the standing trademark of Legendary Lighting, the Vestal Flame. The unique palm shape of the Vestal Flame is often referred to as a maple leaf or fleur-de-lis flame. This flame is a product of innovative engineering combined with the rich luster of copper and translucent glass, creating a truly remarkable effect. The Atlas II offers a slightly greater radius of graceful illumination than the Atlas I, spreading out over ten feet from the lantern itself. The magnetic, enchanting effect of these lanterns leave the lasting impression that has come to define all Legendary Lighting products.

• Each lantern is made of 16 and 20oz. copper
• Double strength glass comes standard
• Maple leaf burners offer the beautiful ambiance of Legendary Lighting's unique vestal flame
• All lanterns are plumbed to accept 1/4" OD copper tubing with flare fitting
• All lanterns include a shut-off valve located at the base of the burner inside the cabinet
• An optional wind guard is available for our customers living in high-wind areas
• Manual lanterns are designed to burn continuously
• Optional Electronic Ignition Feature- this feature lets your lantern be controlled by the flip of a switch, relights automatically when blown out, and can save you hundreds of dollars in power costs.
