How much glass do
you need to buy to fill your glass fireplace?
Measure the width of the back wall of your fireplace (a) as well as the
width of the front opening (b). Add these measurements together and
divide that in half to get the middle variable measurement (c).
a + b / 2 = c
Now measure the depth of your fireplace to get (d). Take the (c)
measurement from the equation above, multiply that by (d), the
measurement of the depth you just took, to get (e).
c x d = e
Multiply (e) by the number 4, and then divide that number by 30 to get
(x). The number (x) represents the amount of glass, in pounds, that you
need to buy from the link above.
e x 4 / 30 = (x)
